Half-Elf (Character Creation)
"There Dolki came from mountains cold, And lost he wandered under leaves,
And where the Elven-river rolled. He walked along and sorrowing.
He peered between the hemlock-leaves, And saw in wonder flowers of gold
Upon her mantle and her sleeves, And her hair like shadow following."
As one might expect, a half-elves often show signs of their mixed blood in their appearance. They often have the same hair colour as their elven parent (blond or black) but it doesn't have quite the same luster. They are also not as slender as the elves, and the men often have an easier time growing beards, should they want to. The most obvious sign of their heritage is their ears. While a lot shorter than the ears of full-blooded elves, they are still obviously pointed, and some half-elves make it a habit of covering this with a hood or their hair. Otherwise, both clothing and grooming is often the same as the culture they grew up in.
Half-elves most often follow the naming traditions of the culture they grew up in.
Half-elves start with the same kind of equipment as the culture they were raised in.
